Distance Learning Accreditation
Regis University has an annual enrollment of approximately 16,000 students, and more than 40 percent of them earn their degree online through our accredited distance learning programs. In fact, our online MBA program and Computer and Information Sciences programs rank among the largest distance-learning enrollments in the nation for their degree types.
University Accreditation is a process by which the services and operations of participating universities are examined by a third-party accrediting agency to determine if applicable standards are met. Should the university meet the accrediting agency's standards, the school receives accredited status. Potential students should be aware of online institutions that are either unaccredited or are accredited by agencies that are not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. To verify the credentials of an accrediting agency, call the U.S.D.E. at (202) 219-7011 or visit their website: www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/index.html.
