The Practice of Entrepreneurship As Leadership
Have you ever had the urge to follow a big dream – to create something ambitious, filled with purpose, and make it reality?
That’s what June’s guest speaker did.
Borrowing from a story by the Denver Business Journal (March 2008), James Perez Foster “quit his lucrative job as a financial consultant on Wall Street in New York City to move to Denver, even though he didn’t know anyone here. Why? He wanted to start a bank to serve the Latino community.”
He succeeded. And not only that, if James didn’t know anyone in Denver when he arrived, I don’t think there’s anyone in town he doesn’t know.
At this month’s Regis MBA & MSOL Networking Event James will be sharing his thoughts about the entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and how he took an idea – an ambitious goal – and made it happen.
Join James and your fellow Regis community for an evening of networking and sharing. Click below to register and to learn more about our speaker.
