Regis University’s new CyberSecurity Education Center

Earlier this month Brivo Systems, LLC, a provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for security management announced the deployment of their ACS WebService within Regis University’s new CyberSecurity Education Center, located at the Denver Technology Center (DTC) campus.

Regis began building the new CyberSecurity Education Center in the fall of 2010 to expand on the need for a hands-on learning environment to support the adult students earning their Master’s in Information Assurance degree and for first responders at the local, state, and federal levels. This solution will also provide added security for the on-site network and facility.

“Clearly, we had to have enhanced control over the doors at the center and who was coming into and out of the classrooms and meeting rooms,” stated Dan Likarish, Director of the Center on Information Assurance Studies at Regis University in the Brivo release. “Utilizing the Brivo system, we demonstrate the one, two, and three factor combinations of identification—card, biometrics or fingerprint reader, and PIN.”
