Regis University Executive Night Speaker Series

Michael Hora, head of Hora Enterprises, will be the guest speaker at the Regis University Executive Night Speaker Series event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Feb. 23 in the University’s Main Hall Conference Room 333.

Hora’s presentation will focus on developing a winning consulting strategy. Hora, who spent most of his career with A. T. Kearney, where he was a senior vice president and a major shareholder, with experience in basic metals, consumer products manufacturing, and maintenance and engineering management, will walk attendees through the nuts and bolts needed to be successful in the consulting business especially during this period of low economic performance.

According to Luka Powanga, a professor in the University’s College for Professional Studies (CPS), School of Management, the speaker series provides a platform for students, alumni, faculty, staff, businesses and local communities to network and listen to senior executives discuss the issues confronting them and the leadership they provide in the context of promoting business and organizational sustainability.

Hora spent his entire career in Chicago, except for 4 years in New York City. During that career with a major, international, management consulting firm, He gained extensive international experience. He serves on several boards including the Regis University Executive Advisory Board, Hora Family Foundation, A.T. Kearney, Bremen Casting, Chick Master and Campbell and Company. His work with numerous organizations has included development, trustee management, board governance, organization, long range planning, strategic planning, and executive committee.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, College of Engineering, and Loyola University, Graduate School of Business.
