Regis CPS Master of Nonprofit Management curriculum offers an academically rigorous, conceptually-based course of study, including:
- Financial Management of Nonprofit Organizations
- Governance and Organizational Leadership
- Leading from Within
- Program Development and Accountability
An essential part of the Regis University mission is to work toward the service of humanity. The Nonprofit Management degree strives to achieve this with the program’s culmination through one of two capstone courses:
- Professional Research Project - Involves the creation, development, improvement or evaluation of a product or program or entails the writing of a thesis.
- Service Oriented Field Experience (SOFE) – Involves traveling to an off-campus domestic or international location to provide service to a nonprofit community in that venue.
In the last 25 years, the nonprofit sector has tripled in size worldwide. In this tight economy and time of budget cuts, we’ll see this growth increase, as more government entities turn to nonprofits to deliver services to the homeless, the elderly, to underprivileged schools, and others in need. Nonprofit organizations will have to run smarter and more effectively in order to support this increased need at a time when donations and contributions are decreasing, and operation costs are climbing.
The Master of Nonprofit Management program at Regis CPS is specifically designed to help nonprofit professionals like you become leaders within the ever-changing and dynamic sector, enabling you to face and overcome current and future challenges. As a Regis CPS graduate, you’ll be prepared to be an effective leader; one who exhibits professional competency to advance a nonprofit through the integration of theory, experiences, and social justice.
