Robert Deemer: MBA Assistant Professor
“As an author, an entrepreneur and lecturer, many years later I still get very excited about my role as a teacher, which allows me to support individual creativity and the creation of personal ‘value’ in the workplace with my students,” said Robert Deemer, MBA assistant professor at Regis and former engineer at the Lockheed Martin Corporation with nearly 30 years of experience in spacecraft systems design.
Professor Deemer takes his in-depth knowledge of executive management, operations and project management, ebusiness, business product development, and strategic planning to present a real-world learning experience to his students.
“In the classroom and online, we embrace the subjects of lifelong learning, emerging technologies, operations management, and the changing business landscape in today’s volatile world.”
Professor Deemer has been involved in numerous space exploration programs, has chaired and published several national studies/books for the National Research Council, The National Academy of Sciences, and NASA, including “Design in the New Millennium.” He was the VP of Operations and Management at a high tech firm for many years, and launched two service-based business operations.
Currently living in Colorado Springs just across from the United States Air Force Academy, Professor Deemer thoroughly enjoys his time spent teaching Regis students, and “the journey called life.”
