Regis University Partners in Complete College Colorado Campaign
Regis University and Complete College Colorado have partnered on a new month-long campaign to encourage Coloradans to go the last mile and earn their college degree.
Launched by Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, Jr., Complete College Colorado is an action campaign to increase postsecondary degree attainment in Colorado. The new initiative aims to enhance awareness of programs and services available across Colorado to help individuals reach their goal of completing higher education degrees or certificates. More than 600,000 Colorado residents have started undergraduate degrees and have not finished. This campaign is an effort to steer some of those students back to school.
As part of the effort to promote the initiative, Regis University volunteers participated in Complete College Colorado 9Line News, a dedicated phone bank which fielded calls from prospective adult students interested in returning to college. Regis University was one of four organizations selected to participate. The panel consisted of representatives from Colorado Workforce Centers, financial aid, two-year and four-year colleges.
